I recently post about my buddy thinking about getting a Furch! Well, He got it and surprizingly let me try it out!

Hog with a redwood top, well put together! Very good action and setup! It was definitely a finger style guitar, very responsive!

It was a Durango model which is like there entry line but for the price I thought it was an excellent guitar. I'm going to have to try out the better ones because I was impressed with this one!

I didn't get a good look at the bracing but the build was clean! I'll have to get my shoe mirror and take a look inside!

I've seen some Durangos in a catalog, and they do look pretty good for the low price. Scarey, isn't it?

Yea! My friend saw one for sale and the only inquiries were from people in Europe. They haven't caught on over here in the USSA because nobody knows much about them I guess.

They're built well and extraordinarily light. Must be general market difference! I don't think they'll do much to the specialty market/private builder here, but the big guys ought to watch out! They're gonna get Furched

Doh! The thing I wanted to mention the most was this guitar has NO back bracing at all!

It has a spherical radius to a side border, kind of like a carved archtop back. I don't know if the back is carved or heat formed..., but no bracing at all! Maybe they forgot!

I think all of the Durangos have solid tops and ply sides and backs.
